Parish Visitation Program

Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me. Matthew 25:41

This fall, the Pastoral Care Committee at St. Paul’s will be renewing the “Friends to Friends” visitation program, where parishioners volunteer to visit on a regular, but informal basis a member of the congregation who can no longer get to church.

While a great deal of this kind of visitation occurs apart from the program, the program is designed to make sure that no one is overlooked.

Anyone wanting to be part of this vital ministry – or anyone wanting to have someone visit them – is asked to contact Father Pastores at 732-4821.

Flower Delivery Teams

Every week there is an opportunity for parishioners to be involved with a great ministry that helps share the blessings of our worship with those who cannot attend – and that ministry has to do with delivering bouquets made from Sunday’s Altar flowers.

Sometimes the flowers are taken to a nursing home or a hospital room. Sometimes they go to the home of someone who is unable to get out. Whatever the case, the flowers are a beautiful reminder of God’s love, and much appreciated by those who receive them.

Volunteers might expect to serve one Sunday a month. Anyone who would like to help with this wonderful ministry of pastoral care is asked to call the church office at 732-4821.
