Communion Services

Summer Schedule

Sundays
8:00 a.m. (Rite I)

9:15 a.m. Sunday School

10:00 a.m. (Rite II)

Wednesdays
9:30 a.m. (Holy Communion, Prayers for Healing)

Child care is provided at all services except Wednesday mornings

Those desiring to receive Communion are invited to come to the Altar Rail when directed by the ushers. It is customary to consume the Bread when administered, and then to take a sip of the Wine from the Chalice. If preferred, the Bread may first be touched to the Wine, and then consumed. Persons desiring to receive only the Bread, and not the Wine, should placed their arms across their chest after receiving the Bread.

Those not wishing to receive Communion, or those not baptized, are invited to receive a Blessing, and should indicate their desire by placing their arms across their chest when at the Altar Rail.

Persons who are unable to approach the Altar Rail are asked to notify the ushers if they wish to receive Communion in the pew.

Acolytes Guild
Ready to Expand

St. Paul’s Church is preparing to expand the number of acolytes who assist with services on Sunday morning. Acolytes should be in the fourth grade or higher, and can continue to serve as long as they like.

Training sessions are provided, as are the vestments worn by the acolytes. And acolytes can serve at either of the two Sunday services.

Anyone who would like to be an acolyte should contact Anne Havard at 734-8501 or Fr. James at 732-4821.
