Holy Communion
Those desiring to receive Communion are invited to come to the Altar Rail when directed by the ushers. It is customary to consume the Bread when administered, and then to take a sip of the Wine from the Chalice. If preferred, the Bread may first be touched to the Wine, and then consumed. Persons desiring to receive only the Bread, and not the Wine, should place their arms across their chest after receiving the Bread.

Those not wishing to receive Communion, or those not baptized, are invited to receive a Blessing, and should indicate their desire by placing their arms across their chest when at the Altar Rail.

Persons who are unable to approach the Altar Rail are asked to notify the ushers if they wish to receive Communion in the pew.
