Acolytes Guild
Ready to Expand

St. Paul’s Church is preparing to expand the number of acolytes who assist with services on Sunday morning. Acolytes should be in the fourth grade or higher, and can continue to serve as long as they like.

Training sessions are provided, as are the vestments worn by the acolytes. And acolytes can serve at either of the two Sunday services.

Anyone who would like to be an acolyte should contact Anne Havard at 734-8501 or Fr. James at 732-4821.

Once again Camp San Joaquin is offering a number of camps for youth. While each camp has a special focus, all of the camps include a variety of learning and recreational activities. Camp brochures and registration forms are available on the Welcome Table on Sunday mornings, and from the church office during the week.

Camp H20 will be July 20-26. For more information on this High School Camp, please speak with Fr. Pastores at 732-4821. Cost: $325.

Students going on the high school retreat at Camp San Joaquin this weekend are asked to meet in Rivera Hall on Friday at 12:00 noon. Those students not yet registered should speak with Frank or Kate Rogers at 627-0139 or Fr. Pastores at 732-4821 without delay.

Vacation Bible School will be held at St. Paul's on August 4-8. This year's theme is "Rainforest Adventure" and is for students who will be in pre-school through 6th grade. Activities will be from 9:00 A.M. to noon each day. Volunteers are needed to help with food, teaching, assisting and set-up. For more information, or to volunteer, please call Mrs. Kashy Rowland-Smith at 733-1229 or Fr. Pastores at 732-4821.

St. Paul's School will have a fireworks booth beginning Tuesday, July 1, at the corner of Houston and Ben Maddox, Visalia. Parishioners are invited to purchase their fireworks from this booth. All proceeds will be for programs at the school.
